The book ‘Hit Refresh’ is intended for everybody who works in a company in transformation. We can all learn from Satya Nadella how to make a transformation happen. Microsoft was a company driven by dogma’s, which were killed and replaced by new values. They started to include a wide range of opinions, perspectives and partners in their thinking and decision making. They made it possible for others to speak so that everyone’s ideas come through. Inclusiveness helped them to become open to learning about their own biases and behaviours. Transformation is about the collective power of everyone in the company. Seeking out actively value differences.
Their culture is the driving force behind this transformation and therefore a high priority. It’s a journey all of us are making. We must invest in lifelong learning to attain a higher level of thinking. There are learners and non-learners. The ‘Learn-It-All’ will surpass the ‘Know-It-All’ in this movement.
