The Confidence Code
The science and art of self-assurance – what women should know
Based on academic research, interviews, tests and observations, the authors have discovered why women struggle to reach the top in politics, university, business, and so on. The basic problem is that women lack confidence. While men believe they are ready for the next move up, women are cautious and doubt whether they are ready. The authors also found out that confidence is more important than competence. Encouragingly, confidence can be built. How? The answer to this problem, is for people to apply the learnings from the Confidence Code: think less, take action, and be authentic.
